So the Astros take on the Tigers in what should be a great game to bet on and watch with Astros pitcher Collin McHugh followed up his dominating 10-strikeout performance over six scoreless innings against Seattle 2 starts ago then another sterling game in a 7-2 victory versus the Los Angeles Angels. Now he has to take on the Tigers who have a great batting line up but even if the Tigers do get into the Astros bullpen you can rest a little knowing that the Astros have one of the best bullpens in the game with the 2nd best ERA (2.98) in the majors.

In saying that I don’t see McHugh going past 6 innings. Taking on the Astros is Matt Boyd who is a ok young pitcher but has struggled getting past 5 innings in games so the bullpen of the Tigers has to pick up the slack and that is not a great thing with them one of the worse in the majors.

Looking at this game and I can see Houston being too strong for the Tigers in this game. They should get the win and just playing it simple with just taking the ML.

New York Yankees @ Tampa Bay

So the Rays starting pitcher in Jake Odorizzi has been good this season but is leading the majors in no-decision with 12 so far this season. He has gone 1-6 in his last 7 starts. That doesn’t sound that good but it’s not him giving up the loss it’s his bullpen that has been giving up the runs and it shows with them ranked 4th last in losses and 5th last in ERA (4.59)

Are the Yankees selling? Ivan Nova is reportedly next to be traded but who knows. He has been really good lately with only 1 run given up in his last 3 of his past 4 starts but has been giving up at least 1 long ball in almost every game this season. Im tipping the Yankees to get the win in this game only because I think the Yankees have been better lately.

So the Red Sox has the 13-2 Rick Porcello starting and is taking on ‘old man’ Tim Lincecum.

The Dodgers are taking on a pitcher who is 3-1 but has a horrible ERA so it’s a misleading stat and im happy to multi both of the games up for a nice price
