Week 2 results
New York Jets @ Buffalo: New York Jets -1 +1.32 units
I must say this was an easy bet to take with all the money coming for the Jets with the line moving from +3 for the Jets to -1 for the Jets! Good win!
New Orleans @ New York Giants: team total over 54 Points -1.5 units
This bet never looked like it was ever going to happen. The Giants defence did a great job at keeping Drew Brees from scoring. Giants could be an under team this year.
Dallas @ Washington: Dallas +3 +1.98 units
A real tough game but it shows the Redskins are not ready for the big time if a rookie QB can beat them AT HOME! How can Romo come back to start now?
Baltimore @ Cleveland: Baltimore team total over 24 points +1.78 units
So on Monday morning I slept in and woke up around 3:45am and I look at the score of this game with it being 20-0 to the Browns and I went back to bed. A late FG saved our backsides in this game! Browns won’t win many games this year!
Atlanta @ Oakland: Oakland -4.5 -2 units
Defence wins game and the Raiders don’t have a defence at the moment. A really bad bet on our behalf.
Total: 2.04 units
good week that could have been better but to be in the green is always a great thing.
Eachwayau's Top 10 betting teams
1. Denver
They are the superbowl champions for a reason with them going 2-0 ATS and 2-0 in total bets too. All this team needs is a great QB. They have had to home games and do travel to the Bengals this week. Big test
2. Pittsburgh
Not reading much into the Redskins win in week 1 but a nice tough win over rival the Bengals this week makes them ranked so high. Have the Eagles this week and should bring them back to earth
3. Minnesota
Good win against the Titans and Packers with the Defence doing the job for them in both games but picking up Sam Bradford could look like a steal if his form can continue. Real test against the Panthers this week.
4. Houston
Didn’t look that good against the Bears in week 1 but did well against the Chiefs in week 2 with them 2-0 ATS this year our superbowl bet is looking ok right now. Huge test this week against the Pats but who is the QB for the Pats?
5. New England
This team is a beast with your best player missing for the first 4 weeks and still come out 2-0. Look out when Mr. Brady comes back. The worst time to be playing the Texans this week.
6. Baltimore
They might have beaten and covered against the Browns last week but it was a poor performance. Could have a danger game against the Jags this week.
7. Carolina
Unlucky against the Broncos in week 1 and really needed to play a full game to get past the 49ers this week. Has another test against the Vikings this week
8. Arizona
Had the big stage last week against the Pats and failed. Played much better against the Bucs this past week. Has an East coast trip this week against the Bills.
9. New York Giants
This team will most likely win the NFC east. The only thing stopping them is Eli Manning. Spend good money on defence and its showing
10. Philadelphia
Most likely the only time you will see them here. Easy against the Browns week one and then backed it up against the Bears in Chicago on MNF. Will struggle against a good team like the Steelers this week.
Week 3 preview
A few good games this week with Houston going to New England on Friday morning. Minnesota @ Carolina and Denver at Cincinnati looks like the best game of the early games so far. First look at the odds I really like Arizona at the line and the Steelers to get a big win over the Eagles too.
