Houston @ New England

Time: 10:25am

Looking at this game and it’s a very hard game to pick so it’s going to be low play for me in this game as I really like the Texans to get the win in this game. Look the Pats are now down to their 3rd string ‘rookie’ QB in Jacoby Brissett who was drafted out of North Carolina State in the 3rd round.

Houston look sharp so far this season with 2 simple wins over the Bears and Chiefs.

The way the Texans play is very much like the Pats who is coached by former Pats assistant Bill O’Brien. They have a good looking offence that is led by new signings QB Osweiler and RB Miller and there defence is a beast with Watt and co.

The Pats are a well-oiled machine and Belichick could almost start me and get the win. But however with the short week and not that much time for Brissett to get reps it does ask the question can they get a win in this game? Also with the rookie getting the start will Belichick lean more on the run game? I think ive found a prop bet I like too.

Will RB Blount get a lot more carries if it’s a close game? Hell yes.

The thing that sets of alarm bell for me is when Jimmy Garoppolo went down last week the Pats were up by 21! They only won by 7 points in the end. But if anyone can do it its Pats Head Coach Bill Belichick who is 5-0 when a QB is making his first start for him. However to counter that stat rookie QB’s are 0-6 against Texans Head Coach Bill O’Brien.

Houston should be too strong for the Pats in this game but it should be a great game to watch! And with a QB behind centre Blount should get 25 touches tonight

Tip1: Houston to win @ $2.00 with William Hill

Bet1: 1.5 units

Tip2: LeGarrette Blount over 20.5 rushing attempts @ $1.87 with sportsbet.com.au

Bet2: 1 unit
