AFL round 2 Saturday tips

This game as blockbuster written all over it with but somehow the AFL has put this game on as the early game which can’t be helped sometimes but it is still poor form for the AFL.

The big question for this game is the Hawks going to bounce back after last week’s poor performance against the Bombers who had more to play for and when I say that I mean more emotion with what has happened in the past few years. After losing Mitchell and Lewis to silly but needed trades in the off season, the loss of Luke Hodge to a club sanction suspension last week showed with the lack of leadership. However he is back this week and might not be the difference but will help this team out.

The Crows really did a number on the premiership favourites last week with them thumping the Giants by 56 points even with Tex Walker missing the game but like Hodge he is back for this game and will help lead his Crows.

I’m going to tip the Hawks in this game but only because the game is being played in Melbourne and as much as I hate the Hawks they are a great team and know how to rebound but I don’t see this game being a blowout win for them. To be honest I am scared that this game could end with either team winner under 15 points but that is why I am only going 1 unit in this game.

GWS should bounce back but I think 40 points I just too much for the Giants to get. Just a very small play for this game.
